  • Select components required for assembly and pull materials from stock, as required and transport materials to work station
  • Use equipment and tools (hand, power and air) as required to accomplish work
  • Assemble various components as specified by work order and/or production requirements
    • Motors
    • Gas trains
    • Drives/Pulleys
    • Component mounting
    • Cuts and fits insulation
  • Perform quality checks
  • Maintain material supply – replenishing it when needed
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work area
  • Ability to read schematics and Shop paperwork
  • Wire electrical components
  • Connect appropriate test ducts, line voltage and gas supply to each heater prior to testing
  • Test units per procedure
  • Record pertinent data
  • Make required adjustments and/or corrections to ensure proper functioning of each unit
  • Trouble shoot and correct any malfunction
  • Maintain tools, equipment and work area
  • Other duties as assigned


Technical Requirements:

  • Electrical knowledge with troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with electrical wiring diagrams
  • Understand our product line and manufacturing processes.
  • Able to understand and learn complex information
  • Able to use precision measuring equipment
  • Able to assemble all unit components
  • Tech School Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Basic computer skills
